Founded in 2017, Davis Clinical Consulting is a Wisconsin-based nursing consulting agency built on a deep-rooted commitment to improving care in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. With decades of combined hands-on experience in long-term care, our team understands the challenges facilities face—because we’ve lived them. We specialize in delivering practical, compassionate solutions through quality nursing placements, clinical consulting, and operational support. During the COVID pandemic, I was working as a Referral Specialist with a focus on the CBRF. The census at our Skilled Care/Rehab facility was struggling and the Social Worker/Referral Specialist had to go out on FMLA. I was asked to support the SNF with no working knowledge of MCR/MA or how hospital referrals worked. Lauren/Davis Consulting signed on as interim DON at the same time.With her joyful leadership to struggling staff; and patient guidance to me, we were able to build and maintain our budgeted census.I will be forever grateful for the learning experience and would strongly recommend her/her company to anyone with a need to build a solid, compassionate team!!

I purchased the business in 2017 and since then have gone through three sets of management to run day to day operations. In that time we’ve had three State surveys, each of which found numerous deficiencies in our operations. After this last survey in March of 2023, it was time to look for external advice to not only get back into compliance, but to exceed industry standards. Of the three consulting companies that we contacted, we chose Davis Consulting, due to their quick response and their enthusiasm to guide us back to being compliant. We want to especially mention Maggie Krueger for her devotion to guiding us back to excellence and her willingness to help at all hours of the day. Maggie also was a great mentor to our new Administrator, we feel like she set her up for success. Overall, I am highly satisfied with Davis Consulting and think it was one of the best business decisions I’ve made for this company. I would definitely recommend using them if you are ever in need!

I have known Lauren Davis since she first came to my SNF in Sheboygan over two years ago. At that time, she came under my SNF’s membership in Leading Choice. I was immediately impressed by not only Lauren’s savvy in SNF and nursing matters, but her ability to work hard, dig in, and relate to staff. We hired her on a consulting basis and her work was consistently at a high level. In a later period, I was very pleased to work with Lauren again, this time with her directly, and with nurses she had hired as consultants.
